Job summary

Safe Air Technology is seeking an HVAC Copper Tacker / Brazing Technician to join our HVAC manufacturing team. This hands-on production role focuses on fit-up, preparation, tacking, soldering, and brazing of copper piping and tubing in our industrial HVAC units.

You should be mechanically inclined, comfortable with copper tubing and hand tools, and able to produce clean, accurate work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with copper tubing, soldering, brazing, HVAC, or pipe fitting.
• Ability to read basic drawings and measurements.
• Attention to detail and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare copper tubing for HVAC assemblies.
• Position copper lines to coils and refrigeration components.
• Perform soldering and brazing of copper tubing and fittings.
• Tack and secure piping assemblies prior to final completion.
• Follow drawings, layouts, and work instructions for proper routing.
• Prepare copper joints by cleaning and assembling tubing and fittings.
• Inspect joints and assemblies for fit and workmanship.
• Operate torches and brazing equipment safely.
