Job summary

Johnson Controls in Largo, FL is seeking a Brazer to perform brazing and testing tasks to ensure conformance to specifications and production standards on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM). You will weld copper parts with a gas torch using a filler material, and read blueprints and engineering drawings to assemble coil units.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
• Industrial/manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing using a gas torch on copper components per procedures.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to weld coil units.
• Follow SOPs and JSAs to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report issues promptly.
