Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Training and Development Coordinator to join our Human Resources department! Under the direction of the Manager, Learning & Development, the Training Coordinator (TC) will deliver highly interactive, engaging, and impactful virtual instructor-led and instructor-led training opportunities. The TC will support ongoing efforts such as facilitating new hire orientations, coordinating and scheduling training initiatives, managing resources and knowledge, and marketing the learning function. The person will utilize the corporate LMS to assign training, update transcripts, and measure success, including developing online courses. This is an entry-level position requiring a growing knowledge of business operations, regulatory environment, and adult learning theory.

Responsibilities
  1. Facilitate new hire orientation programs using existing facilitator guides.
  2. Develop and deliver interactive training sessions, workshops, and learning opportunities in virtual formats.
  3. Create SCORM-compliant e-learning courseware as needed.
  4. Record instructor-led training, convert to accessible videos, and upload to the LMS.
  5. Coordinate with SMEs for scheduling training initiatives like Lunch N Learns and Leadership Development.
  6. Assist in facilitating training events via web and video conferencing.
  7. Serve as LMS administrator for assigning coursework, scheduling, updating transcripts, and reporting.
  8. Create and distribute training communications and updates.
  9. Support people and culture programs and initiatives.
  10. Participate in compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education, Training, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in live and virtual training delivery, facilitation, and evaluation in a corporate setting.
  • Experience with webinar and web-conferencing tools (e.g., Teams, WebEx, Zoom) preferred.
  • Experience with LMS administration (e.g., Cornerstone) preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated environments preferred.
  • Ability to cooperate and interact respectfully with colleagues.
