JOB SUMMARY

The position is a highly visible, accessible, and dedicated member of our service team. The primary purpose is to train agency staff in revenue cycle processes, including pre-billing, authorizations, eligibility, and scheduling within the home health and hospice industry.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the accounts receivable functions under the supervision of the Director of RCM Operations.
  • Enhance agency policies and procedures related to revenue and accounts receivable cycles.
  • Train, monitor, and update policies to comply with government regulations for home health, hospice, and home care.
  • Assist agencies in developing accounting policies, establishing rapport, and emphasizing accurate reporting procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with established revenue and accounts receivable procedures.
  • Partner with RC Portfolio Leaders to monitor course activity and develop ongoing education plans.
  • Possess knowledge of software systems used in home health, hospice, and home care, and train staff accordingly.
  • Monitor agencies with turnover or new hires to create training action plans.
  • Collaborate with LMS and CIT programs to provide effective training and support.
  • Utilize ticketing software to track support and education needs trends.
  • Develop reporting metrics to identify agencies needing additional training and education support.
  • Create metrics to measure progress and results from training initiatives.
  • Partner with the data team to develop tools and dashboards for reporting.
  • Lead the creation of best practices for Service Center and Field operations, ensuring they are easy to understand and adopt.
  • Manage and lead a team of learning resources.
  • Participate in workshops and seminars to stay updated on industry changes and maintain professional status.
  • Create and maintain a positive, warm, and professional environment aligned with company culture and values.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years’ experience in accounts receivable within Home Health and Hospice sectors.
  • Experience supporting, training, and assisting business office managers across multiple sites.
  • Experience with platforms like Homecare Homebase and Wastara is a plus.
