Community College of Baltimore County is seeking a coordinator for Applied Technology and Logistics to oversee Building & Industrial Technology and related Technical Training areas. The role requires strategic program design, staff supervision, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver training programs.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 2 years of full-time experience and at least 1 year in supervision or project management in relevant industries.
The position will coordinate vital trade/technical programs within Applied Technology and Logistics focusing on Building & Industrial Technology and other Technical Training areas.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, communications, education, human resources, management, or training and development, Master’s degree preferred. Two (2) years of full-timeexperience, and one (1) year of full-time supervisory and/or project management experience required in a relevant industry. Relevant industries include but are not limited to the following sectors: aerospace, business services, construction, defense, education, energy, government, information technology, life sciences, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, and associated service providers. Experience in a capacity that includes the planning and implementation of programs, services and/or products is required. Experience that includes the administration, documentation, planning and implementation of training and/or work-based learning programs is preferred. Licensure/certifications related to education, industry, or program development/management preferred.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
