Alamo Colleges District seeks a Coordinator - Student Success to plan and coordinate programs and processes delivering services to students and internal customers in the DIS division. The role supports the implementation and operation of the Future Ready Grant, with some weekend and evening hours as needed.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least three years of coordinating activities, plus supervisory experience.

Job Summary and Description

Responsible for planning and coordinating programs, projects and processes that provide a service to students and/or other internal College or District customers.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
  • Three years’ of experience coordinating activities, programs and/or projects.
  • Supervisory experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience in a community college is highly desirable.
  • Experienceworking with first-generation and low-income students and their families.
  • Trackrecord of successful student recruitment at community events and activecommunity engagement.
  • Experience related to actively engaging with and serving K-12 populations, including middle school students, families, educators.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver license. Must be insurable through the organization’s insurers.

Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
