State of Maryland invites applications for a role supporting the Carroll County Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) leadership in PBHS management and BHA compliance. The position is based in Westminster, MD, within the Carroll County Health Department and MDH.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, with substitutions available for college credits or military health administration roles.
The main purpose of this position is to support the leadership of the Carroll County Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) in fulfilling responsibilities related to the local management of the Public Behavioral Health System (PBHS). This position will assist the LBHA in maintaining compliance with Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) requirements.

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
The desired candidate should possess the following: 1. Experience conducting complaint investigations, facility inspections and compliance visits. 2. Experience working with individuals who have behavioral health disorders and/or are experiencing homelessness. 3. Experience working in public health and/or behavioral health. 4. Experience with and/or knowledge of behavioral health and consumer support resources in the community. 5. Experience working with governmental and community partners.
