Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to coordinate and oversee the regional implementation and expansion of mobile health maternal and child health home visiting including supervision of community health workers, nurses, and other allied health professionals; assist with program planning; partner engagement; referral systems; data collection and reporting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Experience: Two years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
  • Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. 2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in program management, staff supervision, grant administration, and community partnership development.
  • Experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with federally or state-funded programs.
