McLane Company, Inc. in Hazelwood, MO, is seeking a Receiving Assistant to support warehouse operations.

You will maintain department files, update reports, and assist other internal departments with documentation and data as needed. This full-time role operates on the 3rd shift (10:00 PM start) with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour plus $0.50 shift differential; comprehensive benefits begin after 60 days and include medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, vacation and sick leave, and a

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule of incoming carriers.
• Receive purchase orders, print pallet tags, and coordinate with buyers, vendors, and carriers to ensure correct PO reception.
• Communicate receipts of all products timely to appropriate leaders.
• Communicate no call/no shows and rescheduled shipments.
• Ensure that shipments received in advance are communicated timely.
• Other duties may be assigned.

As a Receiving Assistant, you will maintain and update department files and reports. Assist other internal departments as required by providing documentation, files, and support.

• Pay rate: $17.50 per hour plus shift differential pay for 3rd shift (.50).
• Shift is Monday-Friday 10pm until work is completed.

What you'll do as a Receiving Assistant:

• Maintain schedule of incoming carriers.
• Receive purchase orders, print pallet tags, and work closely with buyers, vendors, and carriers as well as receiving teammates to ensure that the proper purchase orders are received according to the schedule.
• Communicate receipts of all products timely to appropriate leaders.
• Also communicate no call, no shows, and rescheduled shipments.
• Ensure that shipments received in advance are also communicated timely.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 or more years work experience, preferably in the distribution industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Office systems.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
