Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Orlando is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to manage outgoing shipments, inspect contents, and verify orders for accuracy and on-time delivery.

You will load shipments, label and document everything, train new teammates in shipping procedures, and resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced distribution environment, while upholding safety and quality standards. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years in a shipping department.
• 2+ years in a distribution environment.
• Experience shipping outside the US contiguous border is preferred.
• Strong math and documentation abilities.
• Reading, writing and understanding English at a sufficient level for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sends shipments and creates paperwork for outgoing deliveries.
• Inspects shipments to ensure there are no damages.
• Verifies shipments per order requirements.
• May send shipments outside the US contiguous border.
• Investigates problems and resolves discrepancies.
• Labels shipments prior to loading.
• Trains new teammates in shipping department.
• Other duties may be assigned.

As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will send, inspect and record outgoing products. Work with DC to load packages and check their contents to ensure they match the orders.
