Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Concord, North Carolina.

You will send shipments, create paperwork for outgoing deliveries, inspect shipments for damages, and verify orders on a full-time overnight shift. This role offers $19.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits beginning on day 60, plus vacation, sick leave, holidays after 90 days, a 401(k) profit sharing plan, and additional programs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 4 years in a shipping department.
• Minimum 2 years in a distribution environment.
• Experience shipping outside the US contiguous border preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sends shipments and creates paperwork for outgoing deliveries.
• Inspects shipments to ensure there are no damages.
• Verifies shipments per order requirements.
• May ship outside the US contiguous border.
• Investigates problems and resolves discrepancies; labels shipments prior to loading.
• Trains new teammates in shipping department.

• Pay rate: $19.00 per hour.
• Tuesday-Friday 9:00pm-7:30am

What you’ll do as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator:

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4 or more years’ experience in a shipping department.
• 2 or more years’ experience in a distribution environment.
• Experience shipping outside the US contiguous border is preferred.
• Strong math and documentation abilities.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
