Position Summary: This position directly supports management of the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and related regulatory compliance functions to ensure institutional compliance with federal regulations governing international educational exchange. The SEVIS Coordinator serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) and maintains up to date knowledge of related federal regulations, advises students on maintaining valid F-1 status and related benefits including transfers, change of level and employment authorization and participates in the arrival process for new students. This position works closely with functional and technical teams to implement electronic reporting/monitoring of data for F and J Students, Exchange Visitors and dependents through the Terra Dotta (TDS) international self-service portal. Serves as a subject matter expert to translate business requirements into TDS objects and workflows. Develops, schedules and coordinates training resources. Collects and analyzes statistical data to support internationalization strategic plan. Serves as point person for website updates and will contribute to social media efforts.
