Pay range for this position is $33.91 - $51.04/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a salaried position.
Position Summary: The Coordinator of Quality and Safety RN is responsible for coordinating, completing, and monitoring activities necessary to implement a robust Quality and Safety program. They assist with processes and key initiatives supporting strategic patient safety goals and optimal health outcomes, including safety projects assigned. They coordinate implementation efforts required to operationalize local corrective action plans and sustain solutions. Working within the Quality and Safety department, they collaborate with facility leadership, Mission Partners, risk management, medical staff, and others within the facility and across the ministry to ensure processes support high reliability. They develop and maintain relationships with OSF leaders to address safety care gaps and enhance workforce commitment, quality, safety, service, and financial performance, supporting strategic safety outcomes. The position provides clinical knowledge, expertise, and guidance to non-RN Coordinators of Quality and Safety.
Required Qualifications: Experience participating in quality and safety committees or projects, or responsibility in investigating safety events. Licensure as a current state-licensed RN.
Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of clinical experience in the relevant field. Certifications in Patient Safety or Healthcare Quality are preferred.
