Job summary

Broward Health North is seeking a dedicated Quality Support RN to coordinate the medical staff peer review process in support of physician reappointment and clinical quality, aligning with OPPE and FPPE standards.

The role provides operational support to Peer Review Committees, tracks clinical performance indicators, analyzes events requiring peer review, and assists the Quality department in preparing for accreditation surveys and regulatory visits, promoting education, improvement, and patient

• Bachelor degree or equivalent

Summary

Serves as the primary Quality support staff that coordinates the medical staff peer review process that supports physician reappointment advancement and clinical quality in compliance with the Joint Commission Ongoing Physician Performance Evaluation (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) standards. Provides operational support for the Peer Review Committees to facilitate their function in identifying and tracking clinical performance issues in a manner that promotes education improvement and patient safety. Participation in the analysis of events that require peer review and examination of medical records as identified by clinical indicators are an integral part of this role. Supports the Quality department team in the preparation coordination and response to accreditation and regulatory agency surveys or visits.
