SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

Full Time, 7:30am-4:00pm

Essential Functions/Performance Expectations
  • Demonstrates competency in computer skills with proficiency in ORSOS and Affinity.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the basic functions of ORSOS; including but not limited to item catalog, charging, making sure clinical documentation supports patient charges and report building.
  • Reviews surgery and anesthesia charge sheets to ensure that charge codes are correct.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of protocol for implementation of charge codes for new products, supplies and procedures.
  • Assists in the compilation of statistical data for monthly, annual, and special reports as requested by both internal and external customers.
  • Maintains communication with Finance and Billing Departments to ensure charge numbers are assigned for all patient chargeable items being used.
Education And Experience
  • High School graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures is preferred.
