Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital, part of the HCA Healthcare family in Anchorage, seeks a Coordinator of Operating Room Internal Control to manage OR supply chain processes and ensure accuracy ofEpic O.R. preference cards and dictionaries.

You will lead teamwork, improve patient care, and support efficient operations in a busy surgical setting. Ideal candidates bring 5 years of clinical/materials experience, strong communication, and leadership potential to support education and process improvements

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant clinical/materials experience; OR experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required; typing 70 wpm and ten-key 150 strokes per minute preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and grammar.
• Leadership experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, build, and direct the implementation and maintenance of all supply chain system activities within the O.R.
• Maintain Epic O.R. preference cards and Epic O.R. Dictionaries with respect to supplies.
• Communicate changes and educate appropriate personnel regarding preference card supply changes and new supply items.
• Participate in the O.R.’s physical inventory counts.

• You will participate with the O.R.’s physical inventory counts.
