Tyson Foods is seeking a qualified candidate to support the Hatchery Feed Mill Transportation or Production Complex’s daily operations in the United States. The role includes keeping records, coordinating production schedules, and managing weekly rosters, LOAs, and vacations.

SAP Purchase Order administration and safety program oversight are key parts of the job. Minimal travel is involved, with a first-shift schedule and a biosecurity-conscious environment.

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of experience preferred.

Job Details

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting with the management day-to-day operations of the Hatchery Feed Mill Transportation or Production Complex. Specific responsibilities include: Keeping official records and executing administrative supervisory work for the location manager; reviewing and setting production schedules; responsible for maintaining changing creating approving weekly work schedules including vacation LOAs etc.; responsible for the SAP Purchase Order System; administration of the safety program and all other duties as required by management.

Experience

Experienced positions with a thorough knowledge of work area. Typically requires Associates degree or equivalent experience and 3 plus years of experience preferred

Accountability Role

Provides coordination and support of moderately complex assignments within a department or groups. Work is performed under general supervision and requires incumbents to exercise some independence. Typically requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of how the operations of the department impact other related work units. Offers tactical guidance or recommendation to internal and external customers to resolve issues within established guidelines.

Biosecurity

The jobsite is a biosecurity environment which requires showering before entering the facility and could require multiple showers during the work day. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species chickens ducks birds .

The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.

Physical

Must use safe lifting techniques. While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms balance stoop talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Personal Protective Equipment Required: When visiting facilities is expected to follow the required safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment.
