Big Apple Greeter connects visitors to New York City with local volunteers (Greeters) for a free, four‑hour excursion ("Greet"). Greeters are not tour guides but New Yorkers who make their guests feel welcome as they visit NYC neighborhoods.
For Greeter/Visitor experiences to be successful, it’s essential that the logistics of the "Greet" go smoothly. The Coordinator of Volunteer and Visitor Services plays a big role in ensuring that this happens.
This position is onsite. There is a minimum of 8 months commitment, with a preference for longer.
