Job summary

Central Carolina Community College seeks a Coordinator of Institutional Advancement to align with the college mission and Strategic Plan. You will partner with the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness to coordinate strategic planning, institutional research, outcomes and assessment, accreditation, and grant development.

This role leads assessment processes, supports data-informed decisions, prepares reports, and collaborates across faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive report-out plan and communication framework for the Strategic Plan
  • Prepare and distribute regular progress updates to executive leadership and college audiences
  • Track and communicate outcomes and KPIs to demonstrate progress toward goals
  • Serve as College’s Survey Administrator; create and review surveys
  • Analyze survey results and produce charts, tables, and written evaluations
  • Support Institutional Research in data requests and external reporting
  • Coordinate college-wide outcomes and assessment review and reporting
  • Support accreditation activities and compliance reporting
  • Assist with grants development, budgeting, and reporting
  • Travel between campuses and occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required

In alignment with the College’s mission and Strategic Plan, “Excellence in Action,” the Coordinator of Institutional Advancement works closely with the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness to coordinate aspects related to strategic planning, institutional research, outcomes and assessment, accreditation, and grant development and performance. The Coordinator provides leadership in assessment processes that support continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making in all areas of the College.

Essential Duties
Strategic Planning

In collaboration with the Strategic Planning Committee, design, implement, and manage a comprehensive report-out plan and communication framework for individual projects and initiatives within the College’s Strategic Plan.

Prepare and distribute regular progress updates to executive leadership, internal committees, and college-wide audiences to maintain institutional transparency.

Track, synthesize, and communicate outcomes and key performance metrics to clearly demonstrate progress towards institutional goals.

Institutional Research

In collaboration with the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, serve as the College’s Survey Administrator.

Create, review, update and administer re-occurring and ad-hoc institutional surveys.

Analyze quantitative and qualitative survey results.

Produce charts, tables, and other data visualizations as well as written evaluations and summaries, from survey analyses.

Provide support to the Institutional Research team in fulfilling internal data requests and external data reporting requirements.

Outcomes & Assessment/Accreditation

Coordinate the college-wide outcomes and assessment review process.

Work closely with faculty and staff to coordinate, facilitate, monitor, and report on assessment activities for the College, including instructional program review, administrative unit reviews, assessment of student learning outcomes, service area outcomes, and other college-wide assessment.

Provide support to the Director of Accreditation on aspects related to regional accreditation, including compliance, reaffirmation, and interim, annual, and substantive change reporting.

Grants

Provide support to the Director of Grants Development and Director of Grants Performance with grant research, application development, budgeting, implementation, compliance, reporting, and related grant activities.

Research, write, and prepare grant applications for private foundations and other small funding opportunities aligned with institutional priorities, including gathering supporting data and documentation.

Coordinate the Perkins grant budget process, including budget development, departmental collaboration, application preparation, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate Degree
  • Two or more years of higher education experience

Preferred Requirements
