Job Summary

The Medical Services Coordinator provides both administrative and medical support to ensure smooth delivery of client services. This role is responsible for coordinating and facilitating care with internal teams and external service providers, and will personally provide client transportation to support access to services and appointments.

Major Duties

• Coordinates with outside providers to provide medical services to the clients served
• Schedules, updates calendar, transports, and documents all health care appointments and lab work for the clients
• Tracks medical, vision, dental visits for all clients to ensure compliance
• Transports clients to appointments when needed
• Updates and maintains files
• Assists with immunization tracking and clinics
• Assists with any nursing clinics offered at KVC Missouri
• Assists with different office duties to include ordering supplies as needed

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Possesses a current, valid MO Class E driver's license and meets the KVC requirements for driver’s insurance
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently
• Ability to use independent judgment and manage confidential information
• Ability to operate in a challenging, ever-changing, multidisciplinary team environment

• Medical/medical office work experience
• Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment
