Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah, is seeking a Part-time CT Technologist (20 hours/week) to join our radiology team. You will work with radiologists to perform CT procedures, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety throughout exams.

You will load and operate a MedRad power injector, maintain ALARA standards, and assist interventional radiologists as needed. A strong focus on patient care and a collaborative team environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 7 days of start date.
• ARRT-CT certification within 1 year of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral and IV contrast and assess for allergic reactions.
• Load and operate MedRad power injector.
• Operate CT scanners and follow ALARA principles per physician protocols.
• Assist interventional radiologists during procedures.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and assist patients onto/off the scanner table.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a CT Technologist, you will work with our friendly radiologists assisting with various types of procedures. There are always opportunities to learn new things and be challenged in your career. Members of that team consider themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

• You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam being performed.
• You will be loading and operating MedRad power injector.
• You will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
• You will be assisting interventional radiologists with procedures.
• You will be maintaining a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.
• You will be moving, lifting, and assisting patients onto and off the scanner table.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree
