Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, payroll, procedures, programs; resolves issues or escalates as needed.
  • Assists with employee relations, benefits, training, events, communications and compensation programs.
  • Manages the Remedy ticket system.
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing and withholding of garnishments.
  • Prepares and requests manual checks.
  • Maintains and updates payroll records.
  • Ensures approvals for payroll processing.
  • Coordinates PTO balances, anniversaries and termination payouts.
  • Assists with departmental audits to ensure compliance with Federal and State requirements.
  • Supports other HR functions and administrative areas (e.g., FMLA).
  • Assists with collection of new hire documents and processing of I-9s & E-Verify.
  • Conducts new hire orientations (badging).
  • Processes new hire data in the HRIS system.

Job description

The Shared Services Coordinator assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources function and duties. Assists with the implementation of services, policies and programs. Carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: onboarding, employee relations, timekeeping, benefits, organizational development and/or HRIS technology.

Position Responsibilities may include:

  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, payroll, procedures, programs, etc.; resolve issues and escalation to appropriate point of contact if further assistance is needed
  • Assists with employee relations, benefits, training, events, communications and compensation programs
  • Responsible for the Remedy ticket system
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing and proper withholding of employee garnishments
  • Prepares and requesting manual checks
  • Maintains and updates payroll records
  • Ensures that appropriate approvals are verified for payroll processing
  • Seeks and receives approval from upper management for payments when needed
  • Coordinates and oversees the PTO balances, anniversary and termination payout
  • Assists with departmental audits to ensure compliance and consistency of Company and Government (Federal and State) requirements and policies.
  • Provides support to other HR functions and administrative areas in the Company (such as FMLA)
  • Assist with employee relations, benefits, training, events, communications and compensation programs
  • Assist with the collection of new hire documents and processing of I-9s & E-Verify
  • Conduct new hire employee orientations (including badging)
  • Process new hire data in the HRIS system along with updating employee data as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • 2-4 years preferably in a high volume manufacturing environment

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Additional training/education is a plus
