Job description

Join the leader in entertainment innovation and help us design the future. At Dolby, science meets art, and high tech means more than computer code. As a member of the Dolby team, you’ll see and hear the results of your work everywhere, from movie theaters to smartphones. We continue to revolutionize how people create, deliver, and enjoy entertainment worldwide. To do that, we need the absolute best talent. We’re big enough to give you all the resources you need, and small enough so you can make a real difference and earn recognition for your work. We offer a collegial culture, challenging projects, and excellent compensation and benefits, not to mention a Flex Work approach that is truly flexible to support where, when, and how you do your best work.

The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents – partners, creators, consumers, and developers.

Dolby Global Social is hiring a Coordinator who can keep up. This is a hands-on, no-task-too-small, no-trend-too-niche role for someone who already lives on these apps and wants to get paid for it. You'll help run the engine behind Dolby's social presence — production, publishing, trendspotting, reporting — and you'll do it without breaking a sweat when priorities shift on a Tuesday afternoon.

What You'll Do
Content & Production Coordination
  • Keep recurring franchises and campaigns on schedule, no chasing required
  • Help build and format creative assets, static and video, for everything
  • Show up wherever production needs an extra set of hands
Platform & Posting Operations
  • Schedule and publish across Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Letterboxd, and Threads, using Sprout or native tools like it's second nature
  • Nail the caption, the link, and the final check before anything goes live — specs, tone, accessibility, all of it
  • Help with CM - may require weekends and nights!
Trend Tracking & Research
  • Catch cultural moments and platform shifts before they're old news, and flag what's worth chasing
  • Watch what's performing and use it to shape what's next
  • Turn trend research into something the team can actually use
Analytics & Reporting
  • Pull the numbers, find the wins, compile the top performers
  • Build wrap reports that actually tell the story of a campaign
Internal Team Support
  • Handle the behind-the-scenes stuff — Box uploads, asset pulls, Teams inbox triage
  • Help prep decks for recaps and stakeholder updates
  • Jump in wherever the team needs you. This role doesn't do "not my job"
What You'll Bring
  • 2 to 4 years in social media, content coordination, or production support for entertainment or consumer brands
  • Real production chops, even if that just means you run your own channels like a pro
  • An internal radar for what's about to be everywhere
  • Comfort with Sprout or similar tools
  • The ability to juggle a fast, multi-stakeholder calendar without dropping anything
  • RedNote or Bilibili experience is a big plus
  • A genuine, borderline-unhealthy love of pop culture — sports, entertainment, music, movies, streaming, pick your lane (or don't, we like range)
  • Chronically online. We mean that as a compliment.
Location & Travel

Based in Los Angeles (office is located in Burbank). The job is remote, but you'll be in-office or on-site with the team for production (in the greater Los Angeles area or more) about 1x a week, with flexibility the rest of the time. Some travel required for production and campaign work.

Reports to the Global Senior Specialist, Content

The Los Angeles Area hourly rate range for this position is $37-$40, which can vary if outside these locations. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
