Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking a Coordinator for Institutional Scholarships to administer a portfolio of institutionally funded scholarships and ensure compliance with donor and program requirements.

You will support scholarship processing from application through disbursement and reconciliation, collaborating with campus partners and the Office of Financial Aid to provide timely support to students and departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in higher education settings related to student services including financial aid, admissions, registration/records, academic advising, student accounts, or student affairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CSU institutional scholarships and ensure accurate awarding across colleges and departments.
• Develop and deliver training on scholarship policy to campus partners and serve as SME on policy interpretation and compliance.
• Collaborate with the Office of Financial Aid and students to ensure timely disbursement of scholarships.
• Manage scholarship data and software needs, set up yearly applications, map qualifications, renew funds, and cycle management to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Assist with processing scholarships and adjust aid when students receive additional scholarships.
• Support operations team duties as needed.
• Perform other related duties.

Job Description Position Summary: The Coordinator for Institutional Scholarships is responsible for administering a portfolio of institutionally funded scholarships, ensuring compliance with donor and program requirements, and supporting efficient scholarship processing and awarding. The Coordinator works collaboratively with campus partners and internal stakeholders to manage scholarship programs from application through disbursement and reconciliation. This role ensures that funds are awarded accurately, the university scholarship policy and fund agreements are upheld, and students and campus partners receive timely and effective support. Essential Job Duties

• Work closely with scholarship coordinators across all CSU colleges and departments to provide program oversight and ensure accurate awarding of CSU Institutional scholarships.
• Develop and provide training on university scholarship policy to campus partners and serve as a primary resource and subject matter expert on policy interpretation and compliance.
• Collaborate with campus partners the Office of Financial Aid team, and students to ensure timely disbursement of scholarships.
• Serve as the primary point of support for any scholarship data and software needs including setting up yearly applications, mapping qualifications, renewing funds, and cycle management continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, and the overall student experience.
• Assist with processing scholarships and adjusting aid for students receiving additional scholarships within the Scholarships team.
• Supports work as needed throughout the Operations Team.
• Other related duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree.
• Experience working in a higher education setting, with responsibilities related to student services - including financial aid, admissions, registration/records, academic advising, student accounts, or student affairs.
• Demonstrated experience delivering excellent customer service to students, families, and both on- and off-campus constituents.
• Excellent written communication skills, as demonstrated by application materials submitted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Financial Aid.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with campus partners.
• Experience in scholarship administration.

Salary Range $53,000 - $55,000
