The University of Mount Saint Vincent in New York seeks a full-time Coordinator for Alumnae/i Relations and Giving to support fundraising strategies, annual giving campaigns, and volunteer programs.
The role involves planning events, crafting appeals, recruiting volunteers, managing student staff, and maintaining donor data. The position is onsite, five days a week, with collaboration across Advancement, Communications, and Athletics to meet goals.

Reporting to the Senior Director for Alumnae/i Relations and Giving the Coordinator will contribute to the development of strategies designed to secure the engagement of alumnae/i and other friends in support of the University’s fundraising and strategic goals.
The coordinator will be responsible for implementing those strategies by planning and executing special events and ongoing programs, developing persuasive communication materials, recruiting and cultivating volunteers, supervising student employees, and maintaining data necessary to monitor goals and achievements.
This is a full-time, exempt position who is expected to work onsite, five days a week, Monday - Friday.
Successful candidates will have demonstrated relevant experiences related to developing engaging programming; drafting communications and appeals; supervising student workers; and recruiting and motivating volunteers. Strong oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, attention to detail and follow‑up skills are required. Experience with Raisers Edge development software is desirable. Some evening and weekend work, and business travel is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding and genuine admiration of the mission of the University.
Candidates should be creative, exercise discretion and good judgement, and be motivated to remain abreast of best practices in annual giving and current fundraising, direct marketing and volunteer management programs and practices used in the non‑profit sector. Candidates should have an interest in a working environment which demands flexibility, encourages creativity and collegiality while emphasizing accountability for meeting goals. Bachelor’s degree required. Prior experience in higher education fundraising is preferred. Driver’s license required. Qualified graduates of the University are encouraged to apply.
The annual salary for this position is $66,300.
