Job summary

Embark in Dallas is seeking a detail‑oriented operations support professional to join the Execution Operations team. You’ll help with scheduling, resource management, contract approval, and process improvements to keep projects running smoothly.

Collaborating with managing directors, business development, and practice leaders, you’ll assign resources to projects, juggle priorities, and drive client success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in resource management or project coordination.
  • Experience in startup or consulting environments is a plus.
  • Strong planning and project management capabilities.

Who we’re looking for:

To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter who is ready to perform on day one. What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Execution Operations team, you will join our team of support staff in the “back office”. You’ll ensure all the details are taken care of to keep Embark running smoothly - assisting with scheduling, resource management, contract approval, and helping us improve all of these processes along the way. Collaborating closely with managing directors, business development, practice leaders, and executive leadership, you'll be instrumental in assigning the right resources to the right projects, fostering innovation, and driving our clients' success. What you’ll bring to the table:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of professional experience
  • Proven experience in resource management or project coordination, ideally within a start-up, consulting firm, or similarly agile environment preferred
  • High level of integrity when handling confidential information
  • Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to gracefully manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for thinking creatively and proactivelyExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong self-starter who takes initiative and drives projects forward without needing close direction
  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to catch discrepancies and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Experience in Workday PSA and/or Kantata is a plus
