Kettering Health is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Main Campus. You will lead Environmental Services staff, ensure routine and periodic cleaning procedures, and perform QA checks in a hospital setting.

The role requires strong communication, computer skills, and several years of housekeeping with supervisory experience. Shift: Third; not-for-profit system; safety and infection control are priorities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Good computer skills preferred.

• Performs QA checks on cleaning procedures.
• Trains staff on an as-needed basis and can conduct disciplinary actions as needed.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Assists Environmental Services staff to perform routine and periodic cleaning procedures correctly, by supplying technical/personal support. Performs QA checks. Train on an as needed basis and is able to conduct any disciplinary actions as needed. Assists in working areas in employee shortages. Conducts frequent rounding on employees. Ensures that staff is using the proper PPE for good infection control practices for all duties performed.

Preferred Qualifications

High school or GED equivalent. Must have at least 3 years of experience in Housekeeping. Must have 1-3 years of supervisory experience in Housekeeping or related field. IEHA member working toward Certification preferred. Excellent communication skills required. Must have good computer skills.
