Kettering Health Main Campus is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations on the third shift. The role includes supporting cleaning procedures, QA checks, and guiding staff through training and performance oversight.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in housekeeping with 1–3 years in a supervisory capacity, plus strong communication and computer skills. IEHA certification is a plus. This is a full‑time, third‑shift position based at Kettering Health Main Campus.

Competenze

• High school or GED required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Housekeeping.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience in Housekeeping or related field; IEHA certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required.

• Assist Environmental Services staff with routine cleaning procedures and QA checks.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and, if needed, assist with disciplinary actions.
• Support operations during staff shortages and conduct frequent rounding to monitor performance.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Assists Environmental Services staff to perform routine and periodic cleaning procedures correctly, by supplying technical/personal support. Performs QA checks. Train on an as needed basis and is able to conduct any disciplinary actions as needed. Assists in working areas in employee shortages. Conducts frequent rounding on employees. Ensures that staff is using the proper PPE for good infection control practices for all duties performed.

Preferred Qualifications

High school or GED equivalent. Must have at least 3 years of experience in Housekeeping. Must have 1-3 years of supervisory experience in Housekeeping or related field. IEHA member working toward Certification preferred. Excellent communication skills required. Must have good computer skills.
