Title:Coordinator, Corporate & Foundation Relations

Position Summary


The Coordinator plays a central role in managing the functions of the Corporate and Foundation Relations (C&F) team. This position ensures that all grant-related activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with funder requirements and institutional best practices.


This role leads efforts to streamline processes, implement workflow automation, and strengthen data systems to improve tracking, reporting, and communication for the C&F Team. By enhancing operational efficiency, the Coordinator enables the team to increase proposal volume, strengthen stewardship, and maximize funding outcomes.


Key Responsibilities


Grant Management



  • Collaborate with the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) to ensure timely fulfillment of funder requirements and reporting obligations.

  • Monitor compliance with grant terms and proactively address risks, deadlines, and requirements.

  • Serve as a point of coordination for communications to funders among OSP, C&F staff, and internal partners.

  • Coordinate and contribute to high-quality funder reports, impact statements, and stewardship communications.

  • Manage relationships with funders when grant modifications or extensions are required.

  • Support planning and execution of meetings between C&F and internal partners, funder site visits, and other engagement activities.


Workflow Automation & Process Improvement



  • Design, implement, and continuously refine automated workflows for grant tracking, reporting reminders, approvals, and documentation.

  • Evaluate and improve existing processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance accuracy.

  • Leverage CRM and database systems to streamline operations and improve data accessibility.


Data Management & Reporting



  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date grant records, agreements, and reporting schedules, and passwords in centralized systems.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms, including grant history and donor engagement records.

  • Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making and leadership updates.

  • Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar, including deadlines, reporting schedules, and key milestones.


Visit Coordination & Scheduling


  • Coordinate and schedule visits with corporations as needed, ensuring logistics are organized and providing a welcoming, seamless experience for visitors and stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.


Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in grant management, development operations, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Experience with CRM or database systems (e.g., FLUXX, Salesforce, or similar).

  • Ability to support or implement workflow automation and process improvements.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.


Preferred Education and Experience



  • Experience designing or managing automated workflows or business process improvements.

  • Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, or data visualization platforms.

  • Knowledge of corporate and foundation fundraising or higher education environments.

  • Experience in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or foundation relations strongly preferred.


Salary:$55,000 based on experience.
