POSITION SUMMARY :

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Office of Strategic Initiatives, support all administrative and operational functions related to non-credit workforce development programs, OSI academic programs, dual and concurrent enrollment, grant evaluation, and conferences.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate Workforce development programs: Respond to external inquiries related to OSI programs while demonstrating customer service. Ensure employer and funder priorities are being addressed in all aspects of the program design, delivery, and evaluation phases. Support all administrative and operational functions for workforce development programs.

Support academic programs (including dual and concurrent enrollment): Assist students through the enrollment and onboarding processes for OSI academic programs (including dual and concurrent enrollment) ahead of each academic term. Support instructors assigned to teach sections related to OSI academic programs. Ensure functionality and accuracy across URI technological platforms, including e-Campus, Brightspace, Flywire, and others.

Plan OSI conferences and events: Plan and support all aspects of OSI conferences and events to ensure sustainability and reputational excellence.

Conduct grant and program evaluation: For all OSI evaluation projects, assist in designing and executing custom evaluation plans that provide stakeholders with data-driven insights via clear and consistent communication and presentation.

Identify new revenue generating opportunities: Pursue funding sources (especially grants), external partnerships, and prospective programs that are consistent with URI’s mission and revenue generating for the institution.

Contribute to OSI marketing efforts: With web development, paid advertising, LinkedIn presence, and event sponsorships, contribute to positioning OSI as a premier provider of workforce development programs that drive organizational growth, operational efficiency, individual upskilling, positive return on investment, and innovation.

Create operational efficiency: Working across the department and with internal and external stakeholders, identify and implement efficiencies that streamline administrative processes and allow for better stakeholder support as OSI continues to grow.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Perform additional duties as assigned by OSI leadership.
