Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel or other databases.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the coordination and documentation of feasibility assessment activities for potential clinical research trials.
  • Serves as an administrative point of contact for feasibility-related communications with principal investigators, study teams, start-up groups, industry sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinates internal and external meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, documenting meeting minutes, distributing follow-up items, and tracking action items.
  • Collects, organizes, tracks, and maintains feasibility documents, project materials, meeting records, and other required documentation.
  • Enters, updates, and maintains CDA-related information, feasibility requests, project status, pending items, deadlines, and key milestones in applicable databases, trackers, or systems.
  • Reviews records and tracking documents for completeness and follows up with stakeholders on missing information, outstanding items, or required documentation.
  • Prepares basic project documents, summaries, status updates, and related materials to support feasibility review and administrative decision-making.
  • Supports process improvement efforts related to tracking, communication, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $47,372 - $55,731

FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

The Coordinator, Business Operations supports the administrative coordination of feasibility assessment activities for potential clinical research trials within the Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center (DLDCCC) Clinical Trials Support Unit. This role serves as a central point of contact between principal investigators, study teams, start-up groups, industry sponsors, and internal stakeholders to help facilitate timely communication, documentation, tracking, and follow-up related to new research opportunities.

The position coordinates meetings, maintains feasibility and project tracking tools, collects and organizes required documentation, records and distributes meeting minutes, and supports communication across multiple stakeholders. The role supports the feasibility review process administratively and does not independently determine study feasibility, make decisions regarding study selection, or manage clinical trial operations.
