Florida A&M University’s Controller’s Office seeks a Coordinator, Accounting to maintain accurate financial records for the University in accordance with GAAP and GASB standards. The role covers asset recording, depreciation, valuations, and extensive audit preparation.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with two years of experience, or a master’s degree. Florida CPA certificate may be required. This is an Administrative and Professional (A&P) position.

This position is part of the General Accounting section, which is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records for the University in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements, and all applicable regulations. The section ensures compliance with GASB standards through consistent application of required accounting and reporting practices.
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Accounting preferred.
This is an Administrative and Professional (A&P) position.
