Job summary

King County Jail Health Services in Seattle, WA, seeks a Coordinated Discharge Manager (Project/Program Manager IV) to lead the day-to-day operations of the reentry program and translate priorities into effective workflows.

The role supervises clinical supervisors and administrative staff, driving stability during periods of change, and building an inclusive, high-performing team. You will oversee budgets, contracts, data reporting, and collaboration with community partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Independent clinical license (LICSW, LMHC, etc.).
• Extensive experience supervising behavioral health staff or managing social services teams.
• Experience supervising complex operational work and improving workflows.
• Ability to establish priorities, accountability, and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the reentry/coordinated discharge program and translate priorities into effective workflows.
• Supervise clinical supervisors and administrative staff; provide direction, coaching, performance management, and support.
• Provide stability and clear direction during periods of change and operational uncertainty.
• Build an inclusive, accountable team culture that supports staff wellbeing and retention.
• Oversee program budgets, contracts, grants, data collection, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with community partners to strengthen reentry services.
• Represent the program in workgroups, committees, planning efforts, and meetings.
• Monitor performance using data and staff feedback; identify opportunities for improvement.
