Job summary

The Coordinated Discharge Manager (Project/Program Manager IV) leads the day-to-day operations of King County's reentry program within Jail Health Services, translating priorities into effective workflows.

This role supervises clinical supervisors and administrative staff, guiding change, ensuring accountability, and building a collaborative team culture as the Reentry Demonstration Initiative progresses. Location is Seattle/Kent facilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Independent clinical license in a behavioral health field (LICSW, LMHC, etc.)
• Extensive experience supervising behavioral health or social services staff or teams.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and grant reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the reentry/coordinated discharge program and translate priorities into effective workflows.
• Supervise clinical supervisors and administrative staff; provide direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Provide stability and clear direction during periods of change and operational uncertainty.
• Build an accountable, collaborative, and inclusive team culture that supports staff wellbeing and retention.
• Oversee program budgets, contracts, grants, data collection, and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with Jail Health Services teams and jail management to coordinate services and address operational challenges.
• Participate in reentry-related workgroups, committees, planning efforts, and meetings as appropriate.
