Role Overview:
The Cooper's Hawk Line Cook is crucial to our success, playing an integral role in creating a positive experience for each guest. The role involves daily preparation and execution of food items across various stations including pantry, fry, grill, broil, and sauté.
Compensation:
$15 - $22 / Hr

What You'll Do:
- Maintain quality standards by preparing recipes to specification
- Follow recipes, manage portions, and ensure presentation quality
- Set up and organize stations
- Use the KDS system to manage cook times and multitask
- Restock items as needed
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen areas
- Maintain kitchen equipment
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with Managers and Team Members
- Follow operational checklists and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
- Alignment with Cooper's Hawk Values
- At least 18 years old
- Minimum 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or similar
- Team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in professional cooking and knife skills
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for up to 10 hours
- Comfort with working in wet, hot, and noisy conditions
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in English
