Job summary

RTX is seeking a software engineering co-op/intern to design, develop, and improve dashboards and interfaces for industrial systems at our US GA-based facility. You will work with Ignition, Oracle, and SQL databases, collaborating with applications and infrastructure teams to deliver practical solutions.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a CS degree with a minimum GPA, have exposure to SCADA tools, and seek hands-on experience in a major aerospace and defense company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and enrolled through the co-op.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Experience in application engineering and development
• Exposure to Ignition/SCADA, SQL Server/Postgres, Oracle, .NET applications
• Prior RTX internship, co-op or work experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve user interfaces and system dashboards (e.g., HMI/SCADA systems) for enhanced usability and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with applications and infrastructure teams to develop system and application solutions related to Ignition, Oracle and SQL database integration
• Troubleshooting technical problems of basic to moderate scope and complexity, including the automation of hardware with digital applications
• Create and maintain SQL and/or Oracle databases
• Work with Cybersecurity to ensure security requirements are met

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
