CIS Industries seeks a Cooling Tower Service Technician for installation, startup, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of cooling towers at customer sites. Position based in Harahan, LA, with potential travel to customer facilities and standby for emergency service.

The role requires reading schematics, using hand tools, and maintaining safety and quality on job sites. Valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and handheld devices (smartphone/tablet).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics/diagrams for cooling tower equipment.
• Good communications, both verbal and written, with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work in a team or independently as required.

Responsibilities

• Install and startup cooling towers and accessories; perform maintenance, repairs and emergency service.
• Diagnose and repair cooling towers, fluid coolers, and related HVAC equipment for large facilities.
• Document service activities and complete work orders, checklists, and time sheets.
