Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers, LLC is seeking a Cooling Tower Tech (CTT) to assist with construction, installation, refurbishment and repairs of cooling towers across the United States. The role involves working with foremen, following safety procedures, and traveling as needed to project sites.

You will read blueprints, help install motors, fans, drives, and piping; prepare layouts; select materials; and support field crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• OSHA safety awareness/training preferred.
• Experience in an industrial workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, installation, and repair of cooling towers.
• Read blueprints and liaise with Foreman for direction.
• Install motors, fans, gear boxes, drive shafts, and piping.
• Assist with layout, material selection, and measurement.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off and follow safety procedures.
• Support field supervision and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
