Job summary

CIS Industries is seeking a Cooling Tower Service Technician to install, start up, troubleshoot, repair and service cooling towers and related components at commercial sites. The role is based in Harahan, LA, and requires working with ladders, scaffolding and hand tools to service complex systems.

You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and complete job documentation while coordinating with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations for the previous 5 years.
• Must pass TAPS background check.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair cooling towers, fluid coolers and HVAC equipment for large facilities.
• Safely work from ladders, man-lifts and scaffolding as required.
• Read schematics and diagrams for cooling tower equipment.
• Document service activities with work orders and checklists.
• Maintain rapport with customers and address complaints.
• Identify parts to order and manage daily business needs.
