OBR Management in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Cooling Tower Technician for the Great Lakes region to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of cooling towers across projects. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely completion per OBR standards.

The candidate will read blueprints, assist with mechanical assembly, and travel as needed, often working at heights and in industrial environments. Valid DL and OSHA-10 are desirable; benefits include health coverage and retirement options.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License or ID Card; reliable transportation.
• Knowledge and application of safety standards through OSHA training and experience.
• Experience working in an industrial workplace.

Responsabilidades

• Always work safely and follow safe work procedures.
• Assist with installation of mechanical equipment including motors, fans, gear boxes and drive shafts.
• Read blueprints, sketches, or building plans and liaise with Foreman for direction.
• Assist with selecting lumber and materials for the job.
• Prepare layout using rulers, tape measures, framing square and calipers.
• Mark cuts and assembly lines on materials.
• Shape materials to prescribed measurements using saws, chisels, and grinders.
• Assemble cut materials and assist with piping and nozzle installation.
• Assist with erection of framework and other tasks assigned by supervision.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off; perform other duties as directed.
