Job summary

Meadow Gold Dairy is seeking a Cooler Operator at our Boise, Idaho facility to perform receiving, storing and distributing tasks for product distribution. The role includes Order Picking, Forklift Operation and Case Washing duties in a cold environment.

Starting pay is $22.35 per hour for the first 6 months, rising to $23.66, then $24.44 after one year, with overtime potential. Schedule includes Sunday and evening shifts, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Recent forklift experience required.
• Must pass forklift certification test.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work in a cold 35–40°F environment.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, storing and distributing tasks to support product distribution.
• Operate forklift and pick orders.
• Assist with case washing duties as needed.

This position is responsible for performing any combination of receiving, storing and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of our products. Cooler Operators are Order Pickers, Forklift Operators, and Case Washer Operators.

THESE POSITION STARTS AT $22.35 for first 6 months, $23.66 until May 1st, then $24.44 at one year wage is $27.16 PER HOUR, PLUS OVERTIME

Schedule is:

Sunday - 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM

Monday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Tuesday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Thursday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Friday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Requirements

• Must have recent forklift experience
• Must be able to pass a forklift certification test
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractionsand decimals
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs, frequently lift and/or move above shoulder height, stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to work in a cold, wet environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
