Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages in Odessa, TX is hiring a field technician to perform mechanical services on cold drink equipment. The role requires basic technical experience and a high school diploma or GED, with Refrigeration/HVAC certification preferred.

You will work Monday through Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with on-call Saturdays and Sundays every three weeks, and you will help maintain equipment, inventory, and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.
• 0–3 years of general technical experience required; 1+ year refrigeration/HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical services on cold drink equipment including preventative maintenance.
• Keep refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition.
• Maintain positive customer relationships.
• Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory.

Work days/Shift Hours - if applicable: Monday - Friday / 9:00AM - 6:00PM (On call Sat - Sun every 3 weeks)

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $27.39 to $34.04 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maneuver equipment to perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment including preventative maintenance.
• Keep all refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition.
• Maintain positive customer relationships.
• Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.
• Experience: 0-3 years of general technical experience required. 1 plusyears of refrigeration/HVAC experience preferred. Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience. Prior diagnostic troubleshooting. Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude. Basic computer skills. Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines. HVAC certification preferred.
