Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is hiring a Mechanical Service Technician to perform maintenance on cold drink equipment in Amarillo, TX. You will operate, diagnose, and service beverage dispensing systems in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, HVAC experience, and 0–3 years of technical work; diesel/heavy equipment knowledge is a plus. The role includes varied shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver equipment to perform mechanical services on cold drink equipment.

• Ensure inventory levels of parts and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Job Location: 4800 Amarillo, TX (CenterPort)
Work days/Shift Hours – if applicable: Four Week Shift Rotation: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, and 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM. Also every 3 weeks on call weekend rotation.

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $27.39 to $37.44 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Preferred Requirements – Mechanical Background

General Purpose

Responsible for performing mechanical services on cold drink equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maneuver equipment to perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment including preventative maintenance.
• Keep all refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition.
• Maintain positive customer relationships.
• Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.
• Experience: 0-3 years of general technical experience required. 1 plusyears of refrigeration/HVAC experience preferred. Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience. Prior diagnostic troubleshooting. Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude. Basic computer skills. Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines. HVAC certification preferred.
