Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages LLC in La Feria, TX is seeking a mechanical services technician for cold drink equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance and keep units in top condition on-site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certification preferred, 0–3 years in technical work, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation starts at $27.39–$34.04 per hour with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.
• 0–3 years of general technical experience required; 1+ year HVAC/refrigeration preferred.
• Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience.
• Prior diagnostic troubleshooting experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and MVR within policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver equipment to perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment, including preventative maintenance.
• Keep refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition.
• Maintain positive customer relationships.
• Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $27.39 to $34.04 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

General Purpose

Responsible for performing mechanical services on cold drink equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.
• Experience: 0-3 years of general technical experience required. 1 plusyears of refrigeration/HVAC experience preferred. Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience. Prior diagnostic troubleshooting. Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude. Basic computer skills. Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines. HVAC certification preferred.
