Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Texas is seeking an entry-level worker to manually stack boxes on pallets for shipping, following company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal regulations. You will also load ice-packed poultry on trucks as needed and adhere to label orientation requirements.

This role requires the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate under supervision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, stack/load boxes from production line on pallets following specific pattern.
• Ensure stacked boxes are straight with label facing out and lot numbers turned to the outside.
• Loads ice-packed poultry on trucks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Under general supervision, stack/load boxes from production line on pallets following specific pattern

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• May be exposed to cold (45ºF, 4ºC)
• Work around raw, live animal odors
