Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a warehouse helper to manually stack and load boxes on pallets from the production line, following company policies and safety guidelines. The role includes on-the-job training and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work a 8:00 AM–6:00 PM shift.

Benefits are provided from day one. This position may involve night, weekend and holiday work and requires compliance with NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

• Ensure stacked boxes are straight with label facing out and lot numbers turned to the outside.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Primarily responsible manually stacking boxes on pallets prior to shipping. Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations

SHIFT HOURS: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

SHIFT PAY: $18.85 AN HOUR

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but nut required

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs


• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs


• May be exposed to cold (45ºF, 4ºC)


• Work around raw, live animal odors
