Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking and energetic individual for a 1st shift role in our plant in Texas. Primary duties include manually stacking boxes on pallets for shipping, following a precise pattern and ensuring labels face out with correct lot numbers.

You will work under supervision and adhere to welfare guidelines and safety policies. This position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, work nights, weekends and holidays, and maintain reliability with good work ethic.

Qualifications

• Under general supervision, stack/load boxes from production line on pallets following specific pattern

• Loads ice-packed poultry on trucks as needed

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Primarily responsible manually stacking boxes on pallets prior to shipping. Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Under general supervision, stack/load boxes from production line on pallets following specific pattern
• Ensure stacked boxes are straight with label facing out and lot numbers turned to the outside
• Loads ice-packed poultry on trucks as needed
