Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a Cook for Brookhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, TX. You will prepare and serve meals per menu, monitor food handling, and ensure safe, nutritious meals for residents.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of cook experience in a large-scale operation, and 1 year in long-term care is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Two years as cook in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred.
• One year’s work experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Description:

Responsible for preparing and serving meals according to the menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. Safely and efficiently provides nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health. Ensures the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance to Federal, State and Local regulations.
