Job summary

Insomnia Cookies welcomes you to join a fast-paced, late-night bakery team. As a Cookie Crew Member, you’ll bake and package cookies, manage in-store and online orders, and deliver warm hospitality with every guest interaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and make every interaction memorable.
• Prepare, bake, and package our warm cookies, brownies, ice cream, and other treats to Insomnia's quality standards.
• Accurately prepare in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe throughout every shift.
• Jump in wherever your team needs you, whether that's restocking supplies, helping a teammate, or keeping the line moving.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and urgency, partnering with your Shift Leader when needed.
• Deliver the kind of experience that turns first-time guests into lifelong Insomniacs.
• Greet guests, take orders, confirm accuracy, and repeat orders for accuracy.
• Provide a warm experience in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and a scoop of ice cream.
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out.
• Handle cash and payments accurately with no shortages or overages.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery.
