Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Knoxville is hiring for a part-time Cookie Crew member. You will greet guests, take orders, explain menu items, and ensure a warm experience both in person and over the phone.

You’ll bake cookies, scoop ice cream, and help prepare orders for delivery with accurate cash handling. Ideal candidates have 6+ months in customer service, a friendly and outgoing demeanor, strong communication and math skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lb.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role.
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer service oriented with a willingness to exceed guest expectations.
• Great communication, organizational and math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items and repeat orders for accuracy.
• Provide a warm experience in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and scoop ice cream.
• Package and deliver orders accurately and on time.
• Handle cash with precision and monitor for shortages or overages.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the bakery.
